Diablo 4 had a rough start at release, but the developers worked hard until the hack & slash is now as players know it today. One of the main responsible persons is now said to be leaving the team, saying goodbye after 15 years at Blizzard.
Who is leaving Blizzard? Adam Z. Jackson, the Lead Live Designer of Diablo 4, is leaving Blizzard after nearly 15 years. On x.com, he thanks for the wonderful moments in the company and can’t wait to see what his next adventure will bring.
Adam was mainly responsible for the classes that you can play in Diablo 4, as they initially had problems and were often too weak. However, Adam also worked on content for seasons and expansions, contributing his input.
What the community appreciated most was Adam’s honesty. He was one of the developers who, when something went wrong, admitted it and stood up for it.
Players speculate where the new adventure will lead
What do fans say about his departure? They are mainly sad that Adam is leaving the boat and moving on. He has positively driven the development of Diablo 4, and his loss will not be taken lightly. Are there indications of the next adventure? Unfortunately not. Adam Jackson has not publicly commented on his new position, and our research and a look at his LinkedIn account yielded no hints about what position Adam is looking for next.
