Is there a new campaign? Yes, there is a new campaign for Lord of Hatred.
What is the campaign about? From an ancient rebellion, Sanctuary emerged as a fragile refuge between Heaven and Hell. Even though Lilith has been defeated, her influence continues as Neyrelle desperately tries to keep Mephisto – the Great Evil of Hatred – at bay. But his power stirs again, spreading corruption to the holy islands of Skovos and putting all of Sanctuary at risk.
Are there new classes? Yes, there are two. The first class is the highly requested Paladin. However, there is currently no information about the second forthcoming class.
Can you already play the Paladin? Yes, if you pre-order Lord of Hatred, you can already play the Paladin.
What specializations does the Paladin offer? The Paladin has 4 specializations:
- The Master
- Channels pure light and transforms into angelic form to gain divine speed and clear focus
- The Fanatic
- The Fanatic charges into battle with unwavering faith and uses pure fervor as both weapon and shield
- The Judge
- The Judge directs destructive light and unleashes holy bombardments that chain through enemies and cleanse corruption in radiant fire
- The Moloch
- The Moloch turns defense into retribution and strengthens every counterattack with the power of the damage received
Is there a new region? Yes, Lord of Hatred takes you to Skovos, the former home of Lilith and Inarius. There, the Oracle and the Queen of Amazons now reign. You can explore various biomes, discover new cities, and face dungeons and bosses. The sea also plays a larger role.
Will the existing classes also be changed? Yes, all 8 playable classes are set to receive a overhaul and new ability variants as well.
What other adjustments are happening? The level cap is set to be raised. There will also be new loot filters, as well as a new version of the crafting system and a new talisman. Additionally, a third skill tree is expected. And for those who find combat too overwhelming, the new expansion will also allow for fishing.
