What are the best farm spots? Unlike what you may be used to from the predecessors, Diablo 4 offers significantly more endgame content to farm. Keep the following priorities in mind for the best yield:
- Complete world bosses, legion events, or hell floods when they are available
- Farm dungeons or whispers in the meantime when none of these events are available
- Complete events in the open world

What world tier should I play? Generally, you should play as high as you can without losing time. Quickly going through the content is usually more important than facing the toughest opponents.
However, you should definitely complete the campaign first. Before that, grinding is of little use. Only at world tier 3 will the coveted unique items (‘Uniques’) drop.

Farming Legendarys in Hell Floods, World Bosses, and Legions
Where can I find the events?
- Hell floods are indicated by a large red area on the map
- Legion events and world bosses have their own marker on the map

How do I farm the events best? Since all 3 endgame events are time-limited and not permanently available, you should visit them when they appear. They usually reward you with at least one Legendary in a short time, typically more than 3.
For hell floods, it’s about getting as much Anomalous Ember as quickly as possible without dying. Complete events in the area and kill enemies, especially elite enemies and bosses. You then bring the embers to the Tormented Gifts.

The Best Dungeons and Whispers for Farming
Which dungeons should I farm? According to the current information, two dungeons are particularly suitable:
- Anica’s Claim in the Shattered Peaks
- Fall of the Champion in the Dry Steppes

How do I farm the dungeons best? Your goal is not to finish the dungeons but to complete just the first objective. You should either kill champions for Anima or collect items.
In both cases, you’ll encounter many elite enemies in large groups. It’s best to farm in a group, split up, and clear one quadrant of the dungeon each. When you are done, reset the dungeon.
To do this, leave the dungeon and then leave the group. Re-invite your friends and the dungeon should be reset. Alternatively, or if you’re alone, log out and back in.
Combine the reason with whispers. Otherwise, mainly complete those whispers where you only need to kill one champion, as they go the fastest. With the Whispering Tree, you receive targeted loot for one slot, instead of purely random items. It’s said that the first player in dungeons found the best item:
Farming Legendarys with Events in the Open World – Here’s How
How to farm events:
- Choose any event on the map
- Complete it, then teleport to the city and take the portal back
- The event should be available again
- If not, repeat the teleporting or complete a cellar in the meantime to reset the event
What do events do for me? Overall, events are a rather poor method to farm Legendarys and other items. However, you quickly get the best and most Raunende Obolusses here.
These are a special currency that allows you to open special chests and win equipment through a lottery. While you are dependent on luck, you can earn many opportunities for strong loot in a relatively short time.
