Dungeons are an important part of Diablo 4 and are often used for leveling up. We have three options for you to quickly exit the dungeons.
Due to the density of enemies, the dungeons are suitable for collecting a lot of experience points in a short time. To avoid unnecessary delays in the process, there are three options in the game to leave the dungeon with just a few clicks.
This is how you exit the dungeon the fastest: Using the emote wheel, you can get out of the dungeon with one click. Just select Leave Dungeon
from the top left. You will be teleported directly in front of the entrance of the dungeon.
- PC: Open the emote menu with “E”
- Consoles: Open the emote menu with “D-Pad Up”
You will learn the use of the emote wheel in one of the first quests of Diablo 4.
Here are a few more options: Another possibility would be the door symbol on the dungeon map. If you see a small staircase there, you can click the symbol and also be teleported to the entrance.
Otherwise, you can also open the world map and travel to a city of your choice, as long as you have activated the waypoint. This is especially helpful when your inventory is very full after running through the dungeon and you want to break down or sell the stuff.
Even faster is using your city portal (key “T”). However, this always takes you to the capital of the area, not to the next waypoint. The advantage, however, is that you can also use the portal for your return.

Quickly exit dungeons – here’s why it’s worth it
The faster you exit the dungeons, the more time you have to farm experience points and loot, explore the map, or tackle new dungeons. Moreover, it can be annoying at some point to run back through the entire dungeons to find an exit.
Exiting the dungeons with the emote wheel or the staircase symbol is also practical for quest dungeons that need to be delivered in the wilderness and not in a city.
