Diablo 4 is a massive success and many players are currently sinking into the depths of Sanctuary. However, Diablo 4 is also a time-consuming game. If you want to be efficient, classic grind is on the agenda. Users on Reddit are now complaining that their guilds in World of Warcraft are dying because of Diablo.
Currently, it feels like everyone is playing Diablo 4. Even many people who are not Diablo enthusiasts are at least trying out the new installment of the action RPG series. In a Reddit post, some WoW players are complaining that their guilds are dying because everyone is playing Diablo.
The ARPG is having a considerable impact on the MMORPG World of Warcraft. Recently, the release of Diablo 4 caused the price increase of an item in WoW.
What is the problem? The user Alive_Advisor3612 posted a small post in the WoW subreddit. 6 people from his guild left last week because they are playing Diablo 4. Thus, the guild is missing players for regular raids.
Many users under the post are currently having similar experiences, but not everyone sees the problem as drastically.

Some say that they feel the air is currently out in WoW. They would probably be bridging their time with Diablo 4 and then return with the new update 10.1.5. There’s quite a lot in there, after all.

It should be noted that Season 1 in Diablo 4 is already approaching in mid-July. Many players will likely leave at least temporarily.
The other side thinks the problem is just temporary and that the hype of Diablo 4 will fade and people will return to WoW. The endgame of Diablo 4 is also criticized in the comments of the post and many believe that the endgame will eventually be abandoned.
