In line with this, the developers have overhauled the entire loot system of Diablo 4:
- Items and their functions are easier to understand, loot feels better.

- There is a smaller pool of affixes, duplicate or conditional effects have been removed, and the overall values of the affixes have increased.
- And with the new crafting systems Harden and Completion, players have the opportunity to customize their gear to match their builds and create true God Rolls.
The developers’ goal was for players to be able to enjoy loot drops more. And a look into the Diablo 4 subreddit shows currently: Players are indeed so happy with their drops that they are showing them off.
Players share their joy over strong loot with like-minded individuals
What are players showing off? In the subreddit of Diablo 4, new posts appear every day where users present their latest drops and strongest items. For example, “OldManShifty” on Reddit shows off his legendary boots that he has improved with the 12 stages of “Completion”.
The boots have a bonus to dexterity and armor. Additionally, they have a whopping 48.6% increase in movement speed as a “major affix” – meaning an affix that is 1.5 times as strong. In the title of his post, he writes: “Every time I look at this, I get a dopamine rush.” In the comments, “bbressman2” noted that they should have been called “Boots of Blinding Speed.”
In another Reddit post, “itsragingnight” showcases his two-handed sword. It has three “major affixes”: strength, maximum health, and critical hit damage. He writes: “A shout out to the Pit for this drop.”
And “Admirable-Spring3165” notes in the subreddit that the season may be “almost over”, but he is so happy to have found the Uber Unique Tyrael’s Might. Tyrael’s Might is one of the rarest items in the game. The unique chest piece can be equipped by all classes.
Sometimes items can save your day or even your whole week. For instance, “p0rkch0pexpress” writes in his Reddit post that he had a tough week, but “this guy” turned it around. He showcases the Unique “Robes of the Infinite”, which wizards can equip.
Why do players share this there? In the Diablo 4 subreddit, like-minded individuals simply meet. Some are happy for the strong drops; others may be a bit envious. But many share a passion for powerful loot and can “nerd out” together about it.
User “walkhardd” shows his Harlequin’s Crown on Reddit because he wanted to show it to someone – his wife is not interested in it. The Harlequin’s Crown is an Uber Unique and is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. The headgear can be used by all classes, just like Tyrael’s Might.
Many players farm certain uniques or Uber Uniques from bosses in Diablo 4 to get the most out of their builds. The Uber Uniques have fixed aspects and affixes and are the rarest items in Diablo 4. Therefore, those who want to find them need a good portion of luck. Some also invest a lot of time to farm them. But a player even found two Ubers in a short time – and a developer envies him for that.
