So far, several players have reached level 100 in Diablo 4. Wudijo has also succeeded and has faced the hardest boss in the game. This failed, and he had to abandon the fight before losing his character.
Update from June 9: It has happened: Wudijo was defeated on the second attempt.
Who is the expert? Wudijo is a German streamer and expert in Diablo, whose opinion many fans have appreciated for years. As for the tier list for the best classes and builds in Diablo, he is one of the experts on whose assessment it is based.
How you can also quickly reach level 100, you can see here:
The list is filling up
Who are the first to reach level 100 in Diablo? In hardcore mode, “cArn_” reached level 100 with his character and thus earned an inscription on the Lilith statue. According to cArn_, the grind was very exhausting.
“Rob2628” secured level 100 just 54 hours and 30 minutes after the release – but “only” in normal mode. He ended his run with the words “That was fun!”
Now Wudijo is joining in as well. He has reached level 100 solo, meaning without playing with friends, in hardcore mode.
With his level 100 huntress, Wudijo set out in his livestream, which has already lasted over 14 hours, as one of the first players to take on the hardest boss in Diablo 4 – Echo of Lilith.
However, there was a problem after the first phase.
Here you can watch the failed attempt:
Cheating potion is not enough
What problem did he have? In the stream video you can see how Wudijo prepares for the fight. Previously, he consumed a potion that temporarily makes him immune and grants him a shield in a threatening situation.
As you can see in the clip by the symbols over his ability bar, the effect of the potion is wearing off. Before he loses his protection, he teleports back to the city after the first phase of the fight, which lasted about 24 minutes.
Once there, Wudijo says that the fight takes too long. His potion would not be enough for that. He needs at least two of them, but he cannot currently craft them.
Nevertheless, he laughs and says: “The fight is epic!”
Why did he abandon the fight? In hardcore mode, you lose your character upon death. This is, of course, frustrating, especially considering the many hours of gameplay invested. If you don’t want to grind non-stop, you can spend several weeks on it and have to start over upon death.
After 18 hours, Wudijo ends his livestream and says: “We haven’t defeated Lilith yet. But we will.”
Wudijo put together his hunter build in just 5 minutes, but in the next attempt, he wants to think more about it, says the player. If you want to save yourself the contemplation, we have a build for you here:
