Currently, there is an XP bonus due to an event in Diablo 4, and the streamer “Raxxanterax” used it for a challenge. He leveled all five classes to level 100 in one day. However, he failed due to one class.
Who is the streamer? The streamer is the Diablo expert Raxxanterax (Raxx). According to his own statements, he has been streaming daily on Twitch for 10 years. His streams, YouTube videos, and guides are a point of reference for many Diablo players.
In his streams, he undertakes speedruns in Diablo 4, testing how long it takes him to bring each of the five classes to level 100. Raxx leveled with other streamers to level 100 in Hardcore mode in 4 hours to face the toughest boss. Spoiler: It didn’t end well.
Now, Raxx has set himself the challenge of bringing all five classes to max level in just one day. If a character dies, he has to level the class from the beginning since he is playing in Hardcore mode.
The birthday event is a good time to bring characters to level 100. The XP bonus is active until June 20:
Five classes to max level in 24 hours – in Hardcore mode
What were the conditions? At the beginning, Raxxanterax explains in the livestream on YouTube on June 15 the conditions for the challenge:
- He levels all five classes from level 1 to 100
- He plays solo in Hardcore mode
- He has one day (that is, 24 hours) to do this
- He uses items he has collected beforehand
- No uniques/uber uniques are allowed
- The new crafting system Masterworking (Completion) is not allowed
He notes that he hasn’t collected the “perfect gear” for all classes, but this saves a lot of time. He has sorted the pre-configured equipment into corresponding chest slots. He only wants to take short breaks, and during that time, he stops the timer.
How did the challenge go? Raxx starts with the Druid, noting beforehand that it is the slowest class to level. At level 7, he enters the dungeon that unlocks world tier 3. In one of his previous challenges Raxx went into the dungeon at level 1 – he is recommended at level 50.
To level up, he primarily uses Nightmare dungeons and stacks several XP bonuses, such as:
- two elixirs, which becomes possible through a specific quest
- one incense
- the “blessing of the mother” through the birthday event in Diablo 4
After 3 hours and 30 minutes, it seems that burning areas on the ground become his downfall: His Druid dies at level 96. The notification states that the Druid died “due to the environment.” Raxx had not experienced that before.
Afterwards, Raxx levels the following classes: Hunter, Necromancer, Barbarian, Sorceress. After 18 hours and 40 minutes, four classes have reached max level “without incident.” In between, he remarks that he was very surprised by the death of the Druid. He will make another attempt.
“Druids are cursed”
After four classes have reached max level, Raxx calculates his times. He estimates that without the first death, he could have completed the challenge in 19 hours and 10 minutes. This is mainly due to the pre-configured gear. For his next Druid, he gathers equipment from other characters because he lost his old one upon death.
What did the streamer fail at? He levels the second Druid predominantly in Nightmare dungeons. After 22 hours and 28 minutes in the challenge, his Druid reaches level 95. In the dungeon, however, he encounters a 28-year-old boss – the Butcher.
The Butcher stuns the Druid, who gets stuck in a wall that slows him down. Raxx attempts to activate the “Scroll of Escape” to be teleported to a safe location. But the scroll does not activate, and the second Druid dies as well.
Surprised, Raxx notes that the “Scroll of Escape” apparently does not work when under a crowd-control effect. He did not know that. Additionally, he did not bind the scroll to a key but attempted to activate it by right-clicking in the inventory. In the chat, many “Nooooo” exclamations can be read, and someone writes: “Druids are cursed.”

Will he make another attempt? In the Twitch livestream on June 16, Raxx mentions that it is okay and he feels good. He had fun doing the challenge, and he will do it again someday. The suggestion to level as many Druids as he can in 24 hours makes the streamer laugh. His current count is zero, so it couldn’t get any worse.
In the stream, Raxx remarks that he will surely attempt the challenge again someday, perhaps with the new class.
