Diablo 4 offers enough opportunities to level your hero to the maximum level with its huge world, captivating story, and countless dungeons. However, many of these options only advance you a fraction, and many fans need to catch up and find ways to efficiently reach level 100.

Diablo 4: XP Bonuses – How to Increase Your Experience Points
Since leveling your hero takes a long time, Blizzard has developed various ways for you to increase your XP yield. First, there is:
Experience Bonuses – Potions and Effects
Note that all effects in Diablo 4 that contribute to increasing XP yield work only additively. This means they do not multiply the result or other bonuses but can be combined to produce a higher XP yield.
- Elixirs
- +5 % experience
- Groups or proximity to other players
- +5 % experience or +10 % if you are in a group
- Legion Event
- Up to +15 %, but lasts only 2 minutes and disappears when you leave the location or the event ends
World Levels
Each increased world level not only gives you more gold and loot but also more XP that you receive when defeating enemies.
However, note that when playing through the campaign, you should choose world level 1. Level 2 is not worth it, as the enemies are tougher and can slow you down and minimize your XP yield.

Enemy Levels

If you fight against monsters that are weaker and therefore have lower levels than you, your XP yield will even be reduced. For each level, you lose 10 % of the XP until you can only gain 1 XP.

Types of Enemies
The world of Sanctuary features various types of enemies. There are bosses, elite enemies, minions, and regular henchmen. Depending on what you encounter before your blade, the value of XP you can gain also scales.

- Elite minions also grant 60 % of the elite experience each
