Many players are most looking forward to the endgame in Diablo 4, which offers various activities after the campaign. We’ve summarized an overview of the endgame content for you.
What can you do in the endgame? Many players have now reached the endgame in Diablo 4. After the many acts of the main story, there’s still plenty to do, and you will unlock new difficulty levels and new activities.
There are many different activities, such as PvP, dungeons, or quests. You can see an overview of all activities after the campaign here:
Reaching Max Level
After the campaign, you probably haven’t reached the maximum level yet. From level 50, you will unlock the Paragon board, which offers you even more possibilities for character builds in the endgame.
How to quickly reach level 100, you can see in this video:
The Tree of Whispers
What can you do there? The Tree of Whispers is the bounty system in Diablo 4. At the Tree, you receive quests that you must fulfill in the world. As a reward, you will receive not only loot and gold but also favors.
You can exchange these favors at the Tree for different chests, from which you can obtain very good loot.
World Event: Hell’s Flood
What is the Hell’s Flood? If you have unlocked the world difficulty Nightmare
after the campaign, the Hell’s Flood can occur in certain locations. This is a world event where waves of strong enemies spawn and attack players at various locations in the open world for an hour.
These battles are difficult but worth it, as the enemies can drop Ember
items. However, if you die with the Ember, you lose it and cannot pick it up again.
With the collected Ember, you can open special chests. These chests always contain specific types of loot and are excellent if you are looking for a particular type of equipment.
World Bosses
What are world bosses? World bosses are huge enemies that have a specific spawn location in the open world and only spawn at certain times. World bosses are gigantic opponents that should not be taken lightly and require a good build. Alone, such a boss is hardly manageable, and you should have enough means for healing and survival.
Gameplay of the world boss Ashava can be seen here:
Nightmare Dungeons
What are Nightmare Dungeons? With Nightmare seals, you can enter various Nightmare Dungeons filled with many difficult enemies and a lot of loot.
The Nightmare seals determine different modifiers for the dungeons, which will then become more difficult. As you unlock new world difficulties, you also unlock new Nightmare Dungeons.
Fields of Hatred – PvP
What are the Fields of Hatred? The Fields of Hatred are a special zone for PvP in Diablo 4. In these zones, you can compete against other players and their builds. In PvP, you then receive materials that can be exchanged for cosmetic items.
A competitive leaderboard is also expected in Diablo 4, which, according to developers, will be based on certain challenges.
The Seasons
Just like in Diablo 3, Diablo 4 will also have seasons. Season 1 will come later after the release and is expected to last for 3 months. In these seasons, you can earn new cosmetic content. You will need to fulfill certain challenges.
With the seasons comes the Battle Pass in Diablo 4, offering many cosmetic items to unlock. There are several variants of the Battle Pass: a free version and a premium version, where you can unlock more.
When playing the seasonal content, you always start with a level 1 character and complete the various challenges. Each season resets the content and brings a new Battle Pass and new seasonal rewards.
