On February 6, the second event in Diablo 4 started: The Lunar Awakening. Besides the event rewards, you can also secure a hidden title. Here’s how to unlock it.
What can you expect in the Lunar Awakening? The Lunar Awakening is inspired by the Chinese New Year. During the event, you can earn the new currency Favor of the Ancestors
and exchange it for rewards at the NPC Ying-Yue in the north of Ked Bardu.
In addition, the shrines scattered throughout the world have been transformed into Lunar Shrines. When activated, you receive random bonuses, including a 50% XP bonus.

What hidden title can you unlock? During the Lunar Awakening, you can receive the hidden title Awoken, Celebrant
(in English Awakened, Celebrant
). The title is only unlockable during the Lunar Awakening from February 6 to 20.
How do you unlock the title? To receive the title, you must activate all Lunar Shrines during the event. There are a total of seven, each giving you its own bonus:
- Artillery Shrine
- Wave Pressure Shrine
- Channeling Shrine
- Connection Shrine
- Greed Shrine
- Deadly Shrine
- Protection Shrine
In addition to the title, you also receive an additional individual bonus for each shrine.
With the event, Blizzard brings fresh wind into the third season of Diablo 4.
