Season 1 has introduced new items with anger-filled hearts in Diablo 4. Among the most powerful and rare are the anger-filled hearts, for which you need angry malevolent seekers. MeinMMO explains how to craft them.
What kind of item is this?
- With seekers, you can open the pustules at the end of the tunnels of malevolence.
- Depending on which seeker you use, you will receive a different heart as a reward. Anger-filled seekers are the “wild card”; they are always available.
- Anger-filled hearts are among the most powerful of the new items and the seekers are the fastest and safest source for them.
You also need the item to complete steps in the journey. However, this is not necessary for progress; you can simply complete a different task instead.
How to get the seeker: The easiest way to get anger-filled malevolent seekers is to craft them. You can do this at Cormond’s workbench along the way or in Kyovashad. There, you need to manufacture the item “unstable seeker” under “crafting chests”.
You only have a chance to get an anger-filled seeker. There is no guarantee, as the corresponding hearts are supposed to be rare and stronger. For crafting, you need:
- 40 brutal secrets
- 40 vile secrets
- 40 cunning secrets
- 1,000 gold
You obtain the secrets from malevolent enemies in the tunnels, or by dismantling the corresponding hearts. It doesn’t matter whether you dismantle them directly at the workbench or whether you recycle an item at the blacksmith that had a heart installed in it.
The malevolent hearts make the limited inventory even smaller. Here’s how to save inventory space:
Find anger-filled hearts – Here’s how
You need the seekers primarily to guarantee anger-filled hearts. However, there are more methods:
- You are guaranteed to get them from anger-filled malevolent enemies, who are rare.
- You can get them with a chance of unstable hearts at Cormond’s workbench.
Additionally, the Echo of Varshan is said to have a chance to drop all hearts. However, we cannot confirm this at the moment. Only the seekers and anger-filled malevolent enemies guarantee the drop of an anger-filled heart.
Unlike the other 3 hearts, anger-filled hearts can be placed in any colored socket. Their effect is also significantly stronger and differs from the other colors. For most of the new, strong builds, you need such a heart. You can find the best builds in our tier list:
