You can change the difficulty in Diablo 4 at any time / switch the world level. But you need to go to a specific point on the map – which we will show you here on MeinMMO.
How do you change the world level in Diablo 4? The world level is equivalent to the difficulty level and can be adjusted in the first major city Kyovashad. Before that, it can only be done during character creation.

Which world level should I choose? Play on world level 1 for starters. World level 2 isn’t worth it, even though it provides more gold and experience points. However, it can sometimes make sense to choose world level 2.

The leveling phase varies greatly in gameplay, depending on your class. Some classes, like the Necromancer, are extremely strong at the start, while the Barbarian struggles a bit.
