What is Blizzard working on? In a new video, community manager Brandy “Nevalistis” Camel explains what the future looks like for Blizzard games. And apparently, Diablo fans have reasons to rejoice, as quite a bit is happening.
Positive news for the future of Diablo
Multiple projects: In the video, Brandy Camel mentions that Blizzard is currently working hard. They are working on several projects in the Diablo franchise.
Some may still need a bit more time. “But we might have a few things to show you later this year,” it continues.
Something is coming in 2018 – perhaps even at Gamescom?
Hope for BlizzCon: On social media, fans are now even more excited for BlizzCon 2018. Perhaps this is the opportunity to showcase the new Diablo projects.

Maybe even at Gamescom? The Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls was presented at Gamescom 2013. Perhaps we will see a surprise for this franchise at Gamescom this year as well.
New season themes planned for Diablo 3
The first theme is already running: Season 14 of Diablo 3 runs under the theme “Greed” and causes treasure goblins, which usually appear individually, to appear in pairs. Perfect for those who are quite greedy.
More to come: In the future, there should be more seasons with specific themes. This is currently still in development.
