In Blizzards Diablo 4 the latest season has started. At the beginning, a strange PR campaign was devised. For enough blood donations, they are auctioning a gaming PC with fast hardware.
To celebrate the release of the new season of the game, Season of Blood, and the blood harvest events that were introduced with it, Blizzard has launched a month-long blood donation campaign in the USA that unlocks in-game rewards as more players participate.
Once the donations reach a certain amount, players can participate in a raffle where they can win “a PC cooled with real human blood.” By the way, our title image is a symbolic image and cannot be won.

In addition to a gaming PC, there are also skins and a special mount
By the way, Blizzard is working with local blood donation centers for the entire campaign. You must submit the corresponding proof of donation on the website where you can also see the donation goal (via bloodharvest.com).
How much must be donated? Blizzard states that a total of 666 quarts of blood must be collected with the campaign. Quarts are a unit of measurement that is no longer used in Germany. 666 quarts is approximately 630 liters.
What is there to win? If enough blood is donated, a whole range of new skins, armor, and even a mount will be unlocked for all players:
- At 33% of the goal, there are 5 new weapon cosmetics.
- At 66%, the cosmetic armor Loch Raeth Maor Barbarian is unlocked.
- At 100%, a new mount is unlocked and the raffle is opened.

What’s in the PC? Aside from the fact that the PC uses “human blood in the cooling liquid,” the system contains powerful hardware:
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090
- Intel Core i9 CPU
- 64 GB DDR5 RAM
- 3 TB SSD Storage
The performance should therefore be more than sufficient not only for Diablo 4 but also for all other modern titles. With the GeForce RTX 4090 you get the fastest graphics card that can be installed in the computer.
The catch: Only residents of the 50 US states who are at least 18 years old are eligible to participate. Most of us are therefore not allowed to participate in this campaign, but are supposedly benefiting from the new skins, the armor, and the mount. Because these are then supposed to be unlocked for all players.
