Blizzard will soon deliver new information about upcoming features in Diablo 4. Players are particularly likely to perk up about one of them.
What’s going on in Diablo 4? Blizzard has announced the next “Campfire Chat” for February 29 at 8:00 PM. Members of the development team will discuss new content for the “Season of the Construct,” which runs from January 2024.
According to the announcement, this includes:
- Tests and challenges
- A weekly rotating dungeon
Additionally, the developers want to talk about leaderboards and balance updates, as well as a point that might appeal to fans of Season 2: “bloodthirsty powers that are honing their return.” In the English version, it’s referred to as “bloodthirsty powers.”
This raises hopes that the popular “Vampiric Powers” will return to Diablo 4.
What are Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4?
The Vampiric Powers were the major mechanic of the second season of Diablo 4.
To obtain them, you had to unlock them by using “Powerful Blood” from boss fights, completing certain missions, or leveling up on the hunter’s glory board.
As a reward, there were various “Vampiric Powers” that could grant you significant bonuses. These included abilities like metamorphosis, which allowed you to build one of the best builds in Season 2.
However, with the end of Season 2, the Vampiric Powers also left, and those who had gotten used to them now had to adapt for Season 3.
Now we can only hope that the farewell was not permanent. Whether, when, and in what form the Vampiric Powers will actually return remains to be seen, but it should be clarified during the developer talk on February 29. As always, we will keep you updated.
If you are currently playing Diablo 4, you should consider which classes and builds you want to play. What is worth it is shown in our Tier List for Season 3 in Diablo 4.
