In Diablo 4, Patch 1.1.1 was released to adjust many things in the hack-and-slash. A long list of patch notes followed, but many don’t know that Blizzard made secret changes and did not share these with the community. Fans are annoyed by this, but an expert still celebrates the changes.
What did Blizzard do? On August 8, Patch 1.1.1 was released, along with a long list of patch notes. Players felt that Blizzard was slowly rowing in the right direction, but then fans gradually discovered secret changes that were not communicated in the patch notes.
A fatal decision, as Blizzard had promised the community to communicate changes in Diablo 4 before they are implemented in the game. Reddit user AzzaraNectum lists in his post all changes from Patch 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 that were not listed, with the request that Blizzard should stop not specifying its changes.
Players are slowly losing trust in Blizzard
What was changed secretly? Reddit user AzzaraNectum has listed all his discoveries on Reddit, totaling the following changes (via reddit.com):
- Aspect of existing poisons fix (feels like a nerf due to the bad proc chance)
- Ice Alchemical Aspect
- Occultist priority change (it is now worse to roll equipment)
- Aspect of the Alpha for the Druid is now multiplicative
The changes involve two aspects of the Hunter that have now been adjusted and make him worse, according to the players. Additionally, the Occultist also received a change when rerolling how he collates his stats for you. It is now even less likely to reroll strong stats on armor.
While many players are annoyed about the lack of transparency from Blizzard, Wudijo greatly enjoys a special change that was not communicated in the patch notes. This change involves a special heart.
What does the expert say? Wudijo conducted his experiments to check the secret changes. He encountered adjustments regarding the “Barber” heart (via youtube.com). This was a strong alternative for some builds in Season 1 before Patch 1.1.1.
The heart has now been adjusted so that now every build from every class can benefit from it. He refers to secret buffs that make the Barber exceedingly strong.
