Diablo 4: Blizzard addresses the huge problem that many have with the greedy Battle Pass – But is that enough?

With Season 2 of Diablo 4 also comes changes to the Battle Pass. The focus is on the number of Platinum Coins that can be earned. MeinMMO reveals what it’s all about.

With the start of Season 2 Season of Blood on October 17, Blizzard announced a wealth of improvements for Diablo 4. A focus is also on an adjustment for the Battle Pass, which some players are unhappy with.

Blizzard increases the number of Platinum Coins in the Battle Pass, but it is not enough

This is what the Battle Pass looks like:

• Every player has free access to 27 tiers in the Battle Pass
• In addition, players who are willing to invest 10 euros (1,000 Platinum) can access 63 more premium tiers – with more cosmetics
• Content: A seasonal title, currency smoldering ash, emotes, skins for weapons, armor, and mounts

What does the problem look like? A reason for frustration for many players is that the Diablo 4 Battle Pass does not provide enough Platinum to acquire the next Battle Pass, assuming one plays through the Battle Pass to the end.

After completing the Battle Pass from Season 1, you only receive 666 Platinum. The symbolic number 666 may seem cool due to its association with the devil, but this amount of Platinum is neither enough to acquire a new Battle Pass nor to purchase cosmetics in the in-game shop, as players point out.

How is Blizzard solving the problem? Blizzard is now responding to the Battle Pass issue. In Season 2, according to the Patch Notes 1.2.0, completing the Battle Pass will now grant 700 Platinum Coins. However, this only represents an increase of 34 Platinum Coins. The pass costs 1,000.
