The fans of Diablo 4 experienced a big surprise on June 12, 2022. You can now pre-register for a beta of Diablo 4 on the official Blizzard website. Shortly after, there was a reveal of the release year and the new release class Necromancer during the Xbox/Microsoft showcase.
How can you pre-register for the beta? To do this, you just need to visit the official Diablo 4 website. There is a big notice right in the middle of the website about the “Pre-Register”. Those who click on it will need to log in with their Battlenet account and agree to a license agreement.
We don’t yet know the specific contents of the beta.
When does the beta start? Nothing is known about that yet.
On which platforms is the beta? We do not know exactly on which platforms it will take place. However, the logos of Battle.net, the PS5, and the Xbox Series X/S are shown during the registration.
The internal testing at Blizzard has been running since April 2022. So there is a possibility that soon first testers from outside will be allowed in.

Necromancer confirmed as release class
Which classes are playable in the beta? We do not know that yet either. But a major highlight of the Xbox and Microsoft showcase was an announcement of the Necromancer of Diablo 4 with a gameplay trailer:
What can the Necromancer do? You use dark magic to create undead servants from flesh and bone that are sent into battle to support you. It usually gets quite bloody, and you can often observe your servant’s corpses exploding.
