The Server Slam is the last beta before the release of Diablo 4 and the last chance to grab the exclusive rewards for the game. MeinMMO explains what you can get and how to do it best.
What rewards are there? You will receive a total of 4 rewards when you play the Server Slam:
- the coveted Wolf Bundle: a sleeping puppy as a cloak
- the title: First Victim
- the title: Early Explorer
- a trophy that you can attach to any mount: Ashava’s Howl
However, you only have until May 14 at 21:00 to do this, as that is when the Server Slam ends. In our hub, you will find all the info about the last test before the release of Diablo 4.
How do I get the rewards? Simply by playing. For “First Victim”, reaching the city of Kyovashad is enough. This happens after the first quests and takes only a few minutes.
For the Wolf Bundle and the title “Early Explorer”, you need to reach level 20. However, there were earlier issues with the bundle: Diablo 4 Beta: Did not receive Wolf Bundle at level 20 – How to get the reward?
For Ashava’s Howl, you need to do a bit more: after reaching level 20, you must face the world boss. This will first appear on Saturday, May 13, at 18:00 German time.
You can find all the info about the times and location of Ashava on MeinMMO here. In the video, we show you the fight:
Level up quickly in Diablo 4 and defeat Ashava
This is how you quickly get the rewards: To reach level 20, simply playing the beta content is enough. Completing a few quests and dungeons will get you further. Overall, you should not need much longer than 4 hours even with a relaxed playstyle. If you go full throttle, 2-3 hours should be sufficient. You can find tips here:
If you want to fight Ashava, you should definitely have reached level 20 beforehand. This is not only a requirement for the reward but also makes the boss nearly impossible otherwise. Here are some tips for the fight:
- dodge Ashava’s melee attacks when she looks at you – the bite can kill instantly
- when Ashava winds up, stand close to her. The claws only deal deadly damage at the outer edge
- avoid poison puddles or equip yourself with resistances against poison
- you can revive players, but it takes time. The respawn point is right nearby anyway
If you take a little time beforehand to farm equipment, the fight will be significantly easier. Here are some builds you can orient yourself on:
