Blizzard has planned an important stream for Diablo 4 that is supposed to take place this evening. Important and detailed information regarding the Battle Pass, the Seasons, and upcoming Cosmetics will finally be addressed and explained.
When and where does the stream begin? Blizzard has announced a stream for Diablo 4. It will start today, Wednesday, May 10, at 8 PM German time.
You can join the live stream this evening on the Twitch and YouTube channel of Diablo, where Rod Fergusson and the developers Joseph Piepiora, along with Kegan Clark and Adam Fletcher, will reveal new details about the Battle Pass, Cosmetics, and Seasons.

The items available for purchase in the shop rotate every Tuesday and can return at a later time. A skin does not disappear forever if you don’t buy it immediately. You might know the rotation of skins in the shop from Overwatch 2, for example.

Contents of the Diablo 4 Stream
What is the stream about? In a blog post from Blizzard, the developers report on the upcoming stream. However, this is not meant to reveal any gameplay elements, but:
- Explain the functions of the Battle Pass
- Reveal upcoming cosmetics
- Explain the seasons that players can play
These topics are more about optional features, that have often been controversially discussed in the community.
What is the community’s stance on the Battle Passes? In Diablo 4, Battle Passes are a difficult topic. There are three parties that take a stance on it:
- Those who hate them and want them removed from Diablo 4
- Those who think they are cool if implemented correctly
- Those who don’t care as long as the content is right in the seasons
Many players fear Blizzard may neglect the content of the seasons just to fill its in-game shop and the Battle Passes with cooler and more expensive skins. Diablo Immortal had Battle Passes, but these were overly focused on monetization. Each class had to be purchased separately, which upset many fans.
So it remains to be seen whether the developers have learned from the feedback and have actually structured the Battle Pass as an optional paid bonus for fashion-conscious heroes that only needs to be purchased once.
