In Diablo 4 players will have the opportunity to choose between 5 classes at release and thus embark on their journey. We show you the already known classes, how they look and what they can do in the trailer.
Which classes will be available at release? Blizzard has chosen a total of five classes that you can play at release. The following are known:
- The Barbarian – an aggressive and relentless warrior who primarily engages in close combat
- The Sorceress – a mage who can take out enemies from a distance with many elements
- The Druid – a nature mage, with talents in shapeshifting and a connection to animals
- The Hunter – a ranged fighter, combining the Rogue from Diablo 1, the Assassins from Diablo 2, and the Demon Hunter from Diablo 3
- The Necromancer – a necromancer, with the power to raise skeletons and bone golems from the dead
You will create your hero in a detailed character creator and will be able to choose between two genders. To help you make your choice easier now, we offer you short trailers for each class. So let’s get started:
The Barbarian
What can the Barbarian? In our first trailer, the Barbarian is shown in action.
The Barbarian can plunge into the fray as usual with his axes. Aggressive axe blows, shockwaves, and even disastrous jump attacks make him the ultimate destruction weapon.
The Sorceress
What can the Sorceress? The Sorceress demonstrates her elemental powers against the hordes of monsters. Lightning attacks, frost attacks, and her infernal fire attacks make every demon tremble in fear.
The Druid
What can the Druid? The Druid is a nature-connected fighter who can transform into animals. Lightning also belongs to his attack repertoire.
Soon you can test all classes again in the upcoming Server Slam:
The Hunter
What can the Hunter? The Hunter is also a new class and belongs to the ranged fighters. His attacks resemble those of the Demon Hunter and the Assassin. With deadly speed, the Hunter can dart through his opponents, slash them, and move on. Special skills ensure that you can control enemy masses better and thus fight well alone.
The Necromancer
What can the Necromancer? The Necromancer is the last announced class in Diablo 4. We show you what he can do in our trailer. The mage hybrid can resurrect the dead, make them fight for him, drain life points from enemies, or distribute debuffs. For more information about his skills, you can find out here in our presentation.
Those were all the known classes from Diablo 4 that you can play at release. What do you think of the options? Do you think they are cool? Or do you miss the Monk or even the Crusader? Let us know in the comments!
