In Diablo 3 the new Season 26 has been running for a few days. We check the leaderboard to see which class has a lead just a few days in and how big that lead is.
What is happening in Diablo 3? On April 15, the new Season 26 started in Diablo 3. The main season theme is the Echoing Nightmare, which presents a new endgame activity. This means certain items drop from bosses in Greater Rifts, which you can use in Kanai’s Cube to open the activity.
We are now looking at the rankings a few days after the start. Which class is currently performing best?
Leaderboard from April 19 in Season 26
What have we checked? We have looked at the official rankings of Season 26 in Softcore. We checked the EU servers for each class in the general overview (all sets).
As of now (April 19 at 1:18 PM), the placements are as follows:

- Witch Doctor with Greater Rift 133 in ~ 13 minutes and 3 seconds (Link to hero profile via Diablo3.com)
- Sorcerer with Greater Rift 132 in ~ 14 minutes and 30 seconds (Link to hero profile via Diablo3.com)

Monk players have already established a good lead over the bottom of the pack. Many are using the Inna’s set, which is available right at the start from Haedrig’s gift for completing the season journey chapters. This quickly gives a strong build that ranks high on the leaderboards.
However, the final word has not yet been spoken. We are still at the very beginning of the season and much can still change. Especially with the increasing Paragon levels, there might still be movement in the rankings.
