The Necromancer in Diablo 3 is getting a forced break and will be deactivated on the test servers for now. Balance update?
Since April 12, you can test the Necromancer on the PBE servers, if you have gained access to it. But as of today, testing is over for now, as the Necromancer will be deactivated. However, the deactivation is only temporary.
Diablo 3 Necromancer not available – Revive Super-Overpowered
Is the Necromancer now getting its first revision based on beta feedback? In the forum, community manager Nevalistis announced that the Necromancer will not be available for testing on the PBE servers today starting at 7:00 PM. Players were already informed at the beginning of the testing phase that the new Necromancer class will not be continuously available. During this time, the developers can fix major bugs and experiment with changes internally.
It is possible that the Revive abilities of the Necromancer will be adjusted now. Testers have already been made aware that Revive is currently “Super Overpowered” and will undergo significant changes in the near future.
The developers did not specify exact reasons why the Necromancer is being deactivated today. There might be a balancing of the various skills in the coming days. All skills of the Necromancer can be found here
During the absence of the Necromancer, testers can try out more content from Patch 2.6.0 on the test servers. This includes the two new zones “The Moors” and “The Temple of the Firstborn”. You can reach these zones via a waypoint in Act II and Act IV.
Additionally, the Challenge Portals are ready for testing. There you can try out new builds in a dungeon that changes weekly. During the beta phase, the dungeon might change more frequently.
The reactivation of the Necromancer is planned. In the forum, Nevalistis writes that the thread will be updated as soon as the Necromancer is available again. We will inform you as soon as we know more about this topic.
