The Necromancer release in Diablo 3 takes place tonight. In Germany, the maintenance for patch 2.6.0 will start at 11:00 PM.
Many of you have been waiting for months for the release of the Necromancer in Diablo III. Now there are only a few hours left until you can purchase the package. However, the release is delayed to the early morning hours of Wednesday instead of today, as announced.
The reason for the “delay” is the maintenance for patch 2.6.0, which must be completed for the release.
Diablo 3 Patch 2.6.0 – Necromancer DLC Release PC, PS4, Xbox One
In the announcement of the Necromancer’s release in Diablo III, Blizzard stated that maintenance must first be completed. Subsequently, you will have the opportunity to purchase the “Return of the Necromancer” DLC.
In Germany, the maintenance for the “Diablo 3” patch 2.6.0 is scheduled by Blizzard to start at 11:00 PM. This usually lasts one to two hours. However, the duration may change at short notice, so there can be no exact end of maintenance specified.
It is expected that the maintenance for patch 2.6.0 will be completed around 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM German time. Afterward, the Necromancer DLC will be available for purchase at a price of €14.99 in the shop.

Necromancer DLC – Where to buy?
After the maintenance, you can purchase the Necromancer package in different ways.
- PC players can purchase the Rise of the Necromancer pack through a new shop that will be available in Diablo III. Alternatively, you can also buy the expansion through the Blizzard shop. Here’s the link to the Blizzard shop on eu.battle.net
- PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can buy the Necro DLC through the PlayStation Store or Xbox One Store.
- Eternal Edition: For PS4 and Xbox One consoles, there is the “Eternal Edition,” which includes all previous “Diablo 3 contents. It contains both the Ultimate Evil Edition and the Necromancer DLC. The introductory price of the Eternal Edition will be €39.99, and its regular price will be €69.99.
Diablo 3 Patch 2.6.0
If the Necromancer DLC does not meet your expectations, you can still look forward to the new patch 2.6.0. Among other things, three new areas, such as the Veil Moor, will be added to the game. We have introduced the three new Diablo 3 areas here.
In addition, you can expect the Challenge Rifts in patch 2.6.0, where you can compete in a “slightly different kind” of competition.
