Best Monk Builds in Season 29
- S-Tier: LoD Wave of Light (via maxroll.gg): With this build, you have a strong speed build that will help you in the highest tiers of Greater Rifts. However, you should only switch to this later in the game, as you are not using the typical class set, but rather individual parts that usually take a lot of time to acquire. However, you will have first-class AoE damage that wipes out groups quickly. There are slight disadvantages against single targets. This build has been in S-Tier since Season 26. You can also play this with the Monkey King set (via maxroll.gg).
- A-Tier: Inna Mystic Ally (via maxroll.gg): Played with the Inna Set, this gives you good toughness in combination with other items. However, you rely on the Mystic Ally and whether the AI works “well”. This can cause frustration here and there. Overall, it’s a fun build.
- A-Tier: PoJ Tempest Rush (via maxroll.gg): Here, you use the Patterns of Justice and chop through the waves of enemies in a fine “spin-to-win” style. This works great in large groups of enemies. If there are fewer enemies on a level, the build can feel quite clunky.
- A-Tier: Sunwuko Wave of Light (via maxroll.gg): The Monkey King’s Garb is the starter set for Monks in Season 29. With Wave of Light, you deal a lot of AoE damage and move incredibly quickly. However, you deal less damage against single targets. Overall, it’s a fun build.
