Best Witch Doctor Builds in Season 29
- A-Tier: Arachyr Chicken (via maxroll.gg): For a long time, this build was considered “fun” to play casually. But with the buffs to the Manajuma set and reworking of the bow “Chicken Eye,” this build now must be taken seriously. You can expect high running speed with a unique playstyle that transforms you into a chicken.
- A-Tier: Zunimassa Poison Dart (via maxroll.gg): The build made its way from Season 27, briefly hitting S-Tier, and is now back in A-Tier. With the Zuni set, you have high range and strong pets supporting you. You deal a lot of damage against single targets. However, you also take a lot of damage with this build and have to be careful. Also, it has little AoE damage.
- A-Tier: Mundunugu Spirit Barrage (via maxroll.gg): The Mundunugu build has been highly regarded in Diablo 3 for several seasons. The unique playstyle is the argument for many Witch Doctors pushing the GRs. The mechanics are quite complicated and need to be internalized first, but then you can look forward to massive AoE damage and many explosions.
- A-Tier: Arachyr Corpse Spiders (via maxroll.gg): With the Spirit of Arachyr set and Corpse Spiders, you carve your way through the Greater Rifts. A playstyle that clearly differs from the others on this list. It can be frustrating when your pets stubbornly attack the wrong target. But when they fight “properly,” they deal a lot of damage.
- C-Tier: Jade Harvester with Starter Set (via maxroll.gg): With the “Jade Harvester’s Garb” set as a starter set, you can utilize a dot playstyle. You can expect a lot of AoE damage combined with burst damage. However, you need to practice the build well to play at the top. Especially because you have relatively low defense.
