The 3 best builds of the Monk in Season 28
- S-Tier: LoD Wave of Light (via maxroll.gg): With this build, you have a strong speed build that will help you in the highest levels of Greater Rifts. However, you should switch to it later in the game, as you are not playing with the typical class set, but with individual parts that usually take a long time to obtain. For that, you have first-class AoE damage that wipes out groups. There are some slight disadvantages against single targets. The build was in S-Tier in both Season 26 and 27. You can also play it with the Monkey King set (via maxroll.gg).
- A-Tier: Inna Mystic Ally (via maxroll.gg): This is played with the Inna set, which gives you quite good toughness in combination with the other items. However, you play here with the Mystic Ally and rely on the AI to “perform well.” This can cause frustration here and there. Overall, however, a fun build.
- A-Tier: PoJ Tempest Rush with Starter Set (via maxroll.gg): Here you use the Patterns of Justice and carve your way through waves of enemies in a fine spin-to-win manner. It runs really well when there are large groups of enemies. If there are fewer enemies on a level, the build feels very clunky.
