Checklist for Season 25 – Season Theme, Starter Sets, Balance Changes
Season Theme: The Soul Shards are the big season theme that makes Season 25 in Diablo 3 so special. In total, there are seven Soul Shards:
- There are three Great Evil Soul Shards that fit into your helmet sockets
- And four Lesser Evil Soul Shards that fit into your weapon sockets
In total, you can wear two at the same time – one in the weapon and one in the helmet.
- You can upgrade each Soul Shard three times using exclusive seasonal items ‘Sparks of the Hellforger’ – these are consumables
- By upgrading, you unlock the additional properties that the Soul Shards bring.

Starter Sets with Haedrig’s Gift in S25
These sets are available: The new season in Diablo 3 will again be accompanied by a season journey. These are a series of tasks that are divided into different chapters. The season journey is free and can be completed by anyone. If you complete chapters two, three, and four, you will receive one of Haedrig’s Gifts for each. The gifts contain set pieces for the class with which you open the gift. If you open all three gifts with one class, you receive a complete set and activate the powerful 6-piece set bonus.
