Necromancer: Differences between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3

A serious exploit allows players to climb the leaderboard unfairly in Diablo 3. GR level 130+ is no problem now.

Currently, players in the Diablo 3 community are dealing with a major issue. An exploit allows Greater Rift portals to be completed with ease, and mobs and Rift Guardians can be taken down quickly.

By exploiting this glitch, players can achieve high Paragon levels and upgrade legendary gems without any problems. What makes the community even angrier: Blizzard has not yet commented on this.

Diablo 3 DH+Necro-Exploit

The Diablo 3 community is understandably upset. The reason is a serious exploit that makes it easy for players to complete Greater Rift portals without much effort. A task that is usually heavily dependent on good gear is now made significantly easier by the unintended interaction of various class abilities in the game.

The leaderboard of the various servers has changed dramatically since the discovery of the exploit and now looks something like this:

We do not want to go into more detail about the exploit and the associated abilities here, as we do not wish to provide a guide to cheating. At this point, we clearly point out, that using exploits can lead to a ban and puts your Diablo 3 account at risk.

Fact is, players are taking advantage of this exploit and dominating the top spots on the leaderboards of various Diablo 3 servers in parties with Necromancers and Demon Hunters.

No Response from Blizzard

Players have been waiting for an official statement from Blizzard on these issues in the Diablo 3 forums and on Reddit since yesterday. But they are still silent on this matter and do not provide any answers. It is unclear whether they are already working on a solution or are not aware of this exploit at all.

We hope that Blizzard will comment on this exploit soon. Additionally, the community wishes that players who exploited it lose all rewards gained from it (Paragon levels, gem levels, equipment).
