Blizzard finally announced the day when Diablo 3 seasons will be activated for PS4 and Xbox One. Are you ready?
Console players had to wait a long time for this news: The seasons are coming to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Diablo 3 and now have an official start date.
Then you can enjoy the many benefits such as leaderboards, achievements, or season-specific rewards. You don’t have to wait much longer, as console players can participate in the seasons starting from season 10.
Diablo 3 Seasons on Console – When?
The 10th season of Diablo 3 starts on March 31. Then you players on PS4 or Xbox One can participate in these contents from Blizzard’s hack-and-slash. So the new season starts for PC players and console players on the same day. Blizzard confirmed the official start on Twitter:
What’s different? How do seasons work on console?
To participate in a season, you have to create a new character and activate it as a “season character” during creation. These season characters can be played in Hardcore mode and Non-Hardcore mode – it’s up to you.
Season characters are separate from your existing characters and share no resources. You start your adventure from scratch without gold, Paragon levels, crafting blueprints, stash spaces, crafting levels, or gear. Everything is reset to zero.
- By completing various tasks of the season journey, you will be rewarded with gifts that include parts of your first set. If you’ve completed several tasks, you’ll have your first complete set in your hands, giving you a strong boost in terms of damage and toughness. This makes the first major Nephalem Rifts significantly easier for you.
- On leaderboards, you can compete solo or in a group with other players.
After the season ends, your characters are not deleted, but transformed into non-seasonal heroes. All armors, materials, gold supplies, and Paragon experience you collected during the season will be available to your non-seasonal characters.
