In Diablo 3, Season 26 is currently underway. To celebrate the game’s anniversary, Blizzard has activated a bonus that will remain active for the rest of the season.
Why is there the improvement? Blizzard is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Diablo 3 and has a few gifts for you. One of the gifts affects the remainder of Season 26, which will be active for a few more weeks.
The second gift to players is an endgame feature that has been activated in S26 and will remain in the game forever.
Bounty Bonus for the Rest of Season 26
What is the bonus? Since May 12, until the end of Season 26, you will receive double the amount of Horadric Cubes when you collect your rewards from Tyrael. You can now try this in the game directly when you complete bounties in Act Five with a seasonal character and then claim your rewards from Tyrael. Instead of one cube, you will get two in your inventory.
Blizzard explains that the drop rates of rewards are not altered by the bonus. So you simply get double the cubes.
This is advantageous if you are still farming materials or specific items like the Ring of Royal Grandeur. The materials from the cubes are important for certain recipes in Kanai’s Cube, which can extract legendary properties or reforge legendary items.
Thanks to the bonus, you are now saving a lot of time farming, and it’s worth it.
