What happens in Diablo 3? The start date for Season 22 in Diablo 3 is Friday, November 20, 2020. All players who create a seasonal character will start at “zero”. Such a character begins at level 1. Without Paragon points, without gold, and only with the starting gear.

What makes Season 22 special? You can expect two important changes as seasonal bonuses:

What do the ratings in the tier list mean? In the categories S to F, builds are ranked according to their potential. It concerns which build has the best chances of reaching the highest level in Greater Nephalem Rifts.
Builds in category “S” are considered the strongest of the season. Those in category “F” are weaker.
However, you should only use this as a rough guideline. Ultimately, much depends on your Paragon points, and every build has the chance to reach the highest Nephalem Rifts with enough Paragon power.
With all these builds, you can easily conquer Greater Rifts of level 70. You need this milestone to unlock the ancient items. They are among the strongest items in Diablo 3.

- A-Tier/S-Tier – Waste Whirlrend (via maxroll.gg) – Depending on the tier list, you will find this build in the S or A tier. In recent seasons, the Whirlrend Barbarian has shown its strengths in speed farming and pushing Greater Rifts. A good all-rounder.
- B-Tier – Savage Frenzy (via maxroll.gg) – This is the starter set that you receive through Haedrig’s gift. It is a solid build for your Greater Rifts. If you want, you can stick with this build or upgrade to the Whirlwind build from the S-Tier.
- B-Tier – Mote Leapquake (via maxroll.gg) – This build received a buff from Patch 2.6.10 and climbed up the tier list. If you enjoy the play style, you can stick with this build. However, the starter set is significantly stronger.
