What’s going on in Diablo 3? On August 26, the new Season 27 started. Many players began the season with a new character and have since been climbing through the Greater Nephalem Rifts. This is also the game’s leaderboard. Because those who clear the higher Greater Rifts are ranked higher. Starting from level 150, the highest level of these dungeons, the time matters.

The data is current as of August 31 at 12:20 PM. We verified this through the leaderboards available in-game.
These are the rankings:
- Monk: Greater Rift 150 in 13 minutes and 28 seconds
- Sorceress: Greater Rift 145 in 14 minutes and 34 seconds
- Necromancer: Greater Rift 143 in 13 minutes and 13 seconds
- Barbarian: Greater Rift 143 in 14 minutes and 52 seconds
- Demon Hunter: Greater Rift 140 in 13 minutes and 44 seconds
- Crusader: Greater Rift 136 in 12 minutes and 35 seconds
- Witch Doctor: Greater Rift 134 in 12 minutes and 28 seconds
What’s notable: Monks clearly have the upper hand right now and are leading the field. Compared to Witch Doctors, who are currently in last place, Monks are a full 16 levels ahead in the G-Rift. In our Tier List for Season 27 of Diablo 3, Monks with the LoD Wave of Light build have made it to S-Tier, along with Barbarians, Sorceresses, Demon Hunters, and Necromancers.
There is still a lot of potential here that will unfold in the coming weeks. Because remember: The new season has only been active for a few days, and this is only a first look at the leaderboards. In the coming days and weeks, players will push their Paragon levels and further expand their potential. It’s very likely that in just a few days, several classes will reach GR 150 and will only be fighting for the best times.
