For a long time, the Witch Doctor led the leaderboard of Season 20 in Diablo 3. But now another class is at the top. The Ladder has changed.
What’s new? Season 20 is currently active in Diablo 3. It started about 2 months ago on March 13. A major highlight of the season is the 3 new sets for Witch Doctors, Barbarians, and Wizards. The Witch Doctor greatly benefited from its gear, which quickly propelled this class up the leaderboard.
But now it had to hand over the scepter. The order of classes in the Season 20 leaderboard has changed.
The leaderboard of Season 20 in Diablo 3 – May status
This is how it currently looks: Nearly 8 weeks after the start of the season, the Witch Doctor slipped down to second place. The Crusader took the lead – and by a significant margin. The Wizard remains in second to last place.
When we looked at the leaderboard in April, the Witch Doctor was still in the lead.
These leaderboard data comes from May 15, 2020, at 3:00 PM. The placements of the seasonal Greater Nephalem Rifts in Softcore are counted. Behind the placements, we link you to the hero profile of the players who set the best times.

What stands out? The Witch Doctor already had a remarkable race with other classes shortly after the start of Season 20. While the Witch Doctor was the worst class in previous seasons, it quickly became the best.
However, the Crusaders were always breathing down its neck throughout the season. They were even able to overtake now.
It remains to be seen whether the order and the first place on the ladder will change again by the end of Season 20 in Diablo 3.
