The beta test for the Necromancer in Diablo 3 is now live. The patch notes for 2.6.0 include further changes such as Challenge Rifts.
Last night, Blizzard launched the beta test for the Necromancer in Diablo 3. During this testing phase, players can get an impression of the class and its individual abilities, learning how the Necro plays in various Hack & Slash situations. With revived monsters and an army of undead, you move through areas and dungeons.
Additionally, the developers released a preview of what to expect in patch 2.6.0. This includes new Challenge Rifts that will change regularly.
Necromancer Beta
The time has come, and the beta test for the Necromancer has started. However, this is only available for players who have received an invitation for this testing phase. Keep an eye on your email inboxes. All others will have to wait for the release of the Necromancer in patch 2.6.0, which currently has no official date yet.
The Necromancer is considered a master of the dark arts, commanding the powers of life and death to restore balance. The Necromancers are powerful spellcasters who annihilate their enemies with both curses and revived minions. Additionally, they are aided by a versatile army of undead.
Blood and Bone are the essential building blocks of the playstyle of the new class in Diablo 3. An introduction to the skills of the Necromancer will follow shortly on Mein-MMO.de.
PTR Patch Notes 2.6.0
The new patch 2.6.0 will offer additional changes alongside the Necromancer, aiming to bring some fresh wind to Diablo 3. To distract a bit from the “grind,” there will be Challenge Rifts that change weekly.
General
- New Feature – Challenge Rifts
- You can try out new builds from other players in a dungeon that changes weekly. You can start the Challenge Rifts, similar to the Adventure and Story mode, from the game’s main screen.
- During the beta, new Challenge Rifts may be available more frequently for testing purposes.
Adventure Mode
- New Zones: “The Marshes” and “The Temple of the Firstborn”
- Shrouded in fog are “The Marshes,” a new area in Diablo 3. You can reach them, just like the dark Temple of the Firstborn, through a new waypoint in Act 2 and explore them in Adventure Mode.
- Set Rifts
- The user interface of the Set Rifts has been updated to clearly and understandably explain the requirements for completing the levels.
- Thus, the base level criteria must be completed within the time limit.
- Bounties
- Four new waypoints await you in Act IV. Each of them offers you a new bounty to complete. “These fate spheres are the unforeseen consequences of the battle between the Nephalem and Diablo in the High Heavens.”
