In Diablo 3 you can now get a pair of wings for free. They are being given away for the 20th anniversary of Diablo 2.
What kind of wings are these? For the 20th anniversary of Diablo 2, Blizzard has some surprises for fans of the hack-and-slash genre. The “Wings of the Prime Evil.” These are available to you completely free, just in time for the start of Season 21 in Diablo 3.
How do you get the wings? All you have to do for the gift is log in to Diablo 3. It seems that there is no time limit. As soon as you log in to Diablo 3 after June 29, 2020, you can claim the wings as your own. You will receive confirmation as a popup in the interface as soon as you join a game.
Then click F1 or open the menu of your collection on PS4/Xbox One or Switch. You should find the gift right in the first place under the wings.
Blizzard says: “If you log in to Diablo III after June 29, you will receive your own pair of Wings of the Prime Evil, allowing you to proudly display the legacy that you forged atop the summit of Arreat. Baal – as we know him from Diablo II – didn’t have wings, but just imagine how they would have looked, and how stylish they would be on your hero!”

They are gruesome, sharp-looking vines growing from your champion’s back. And they are animated.
What else is there for the 20th anniversary?
Special content for the anniversary: To celebrate the anniversary, Blizzard has come up with some cool things.
From Carbot Studios, you can see a funny video titled “Baal Runz 101.” It shows a rather accurate representation of the fight against the Lord of Destruction.
Additionally, you can watch the speedrun record holder on mrllamasc’s Twitch channel as he speedruns through Diablo 2. He plays through the entire game – including the Pandemonium event and “Uber” bosses.
