In a few days, Season 19 in Diablo 3 will begin. The team has now released the important Patch 2.6.7, which brings a lot of new content. In the patch notes, we show you what the update contains.
What kind of patch is this? In recent days, the update 2.6.7 could already be played on the test servers of Diablo 3. Now it has been activated on the live servers and is available for you to download. With this patch, you will play the upcoming Season 19 in Diablo 3.
What makes the patch special? The update brings some buffs to make additional playstyles in the meta interesting. Additionally, two classes each receive a new set. This variety is welcomed by the players.

General Changes for Season 19 in D3
A change that affects all players involves the stones for Greater Nephalem Rifts. These are now part of the “Vacuum pick-up” – they will be automatically collected.
The new season theme: The theme for Season 19 is Pandemonium. This buff is intended to be helpful throughout your entire time in the new season. It revolves around killstreaks. At regular intervals, killstreaks provide certain bonuses. You decide when it is worth it to break a streak to take the bonus.
Each stack of Pandemonium grants 0.005 movement speed and 0.001% additional damage. The maximum is reached at 1,000 stacks with 50% movement speed and 100% more damage.
Additionally, killstreaks reward you with these effects:
- 15 kills: Exploding chickens seek and destroy
- 30 kills: A large Frost Nova freezes enemies
- 50 kills: It rains corpses from the sky
- 100 kills: Five massive energy vortices are unleashed
- 150 kills: Dark geysers appear among the enemies
- 200 kills: Treasure chests fall from the sky
- 300 kills: A ring of fire surrounds everything
- 400 kills: Meteors fall from the sky
- 500 kills: Angels descend onto the battlefields to fight by your side
- 1000 kills: Still a secret
Players who purchased a Virtual Ticket for BlizzCon will now receive the cosmetic wings of Lilith’s Embrace. Valid for PC only.
Start of Season 19: A specific start time for Season 19 in Diablo 3 is still unclear. This Friday (11/15), it will not begin. Blizzard confirmed this in the forums (via Blizzard Forum).
Patch Notes for 2.6.7 – New Sets for Monk and Crusader
Here we summarize the most important changes of Patch 2.6.7 in D3.
Monk Set – Patterns of Justice
The 2-piece set bonus gives this set the effect of every rune to the skill Dashing Strike and increases movement speed by 5% per stack.
The 4-piece set bonus enhances the ability Tempest Rush, reducing the damage you take by 50% after using the skill and increasing spirit regeneration by 50.
The 6-piece set bonus amplifies a combo of the 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses. Hitting enemies with Tempest Rush while Dashing Strike is active will make the range of Dashing Strike 30 times larger for a short period. The damage of Dashing Strike is increased by 15,000%.
Crusader Set – Aegis of Valor
The 2-piece set bonus causes the use of Heaven’s Fury to be enhanced. Thus, Heaven’s Fury will inflict 100% more damage for 5 seconds. This can stack 3 times.
The 4-piece set bonus generates 5 Wrath and reduces damage taken by 1% for 5 seconds with hits from Heaven’s Fury. It can stack 50 times.
The 6-piece set bonus increases the damage dealt by Heaven’s Fury and Heaven’s Strike by 20,000%.

What changes to the various weapons and armors in the new patch, we show you here.
- Darklight – Heaven’s Fury has a 100% chance to be cast twice. Previously 45-60% chance
- Additional Legendary Power – Increases the damage of Heaven’s Fury by 800-1000%
- Vengeful Wind – Increases the maximum stacks of Dashing Strike by 10. Previously 6-7 stacks
- Additional Legendary Power: Increases the damage of Dashing Strike by 600-800%.
- Won Khim Lau – Hits with Tempest Rush trigger Cyclone Strike. Both abilities deal 500-600% more damage.
- Chantodo Set – The scaling bonus of attack speed from Wave of Destruction has been reduced.
- Helm of the Wastes – The damage bonus now also applies to Rending.
- Ambos Pride – Attacking with Whirlwind also triggers Rending and the total damage of Rending is dealt in one second.
- Remorseless – When both Wrath of the Berserker and Call of the Ancients are active, Hammer of the Ancients deals 200-250% more damage.
- Fjord Cutter – Seismic Slam attacks 50% faster and adds an additional 100-150% more damage against slowed or frozen enemies.
- Bracers of Destruction – Seismic Slam deals 400-500% more damage to the first 10 enemies it hits.
- Fury of the Ancients – Call of the Ancients gains the effect of the rune ‘Fury of the Ancients’ and your Ancients attack 100% faster.
- Bone Ringer – Now has a maximum stack limit of 60.
- Legacy of Dreams – This gem now has a higher chance of dropping from bosses in Greater Nephalem Rifts.
