How to obtain a Flawless Diamond in Diablo 3, we show you in this quick guide for Season 28.
What do you need the diamond for? In the new Season 28 of Diablo 3, the “Altar of Rites” is the major new seasonal theme. This is a feature resembling a large skill tree. If you want to unlock various skills there, you must deposit materials.
For the second unlocking, you need a Flawless Diamond. And you can earn that from level 18. We will show you how to do it.
Flawless Diamond from Level 18 – Locations
How does it work? If you’re lucky, you don’t have to wait until level 18 to find the diamonds. If you encounter a Jewel Hoarder Goblin, it can drop the gems already. However, from level 18 onwards, it is easier to obtain the gemstones with a high probability.
- Start a game in adventure mode on “Normal” difficulty
- Check for bounties on the bosses “Skeleton King”, “Maghda”, “Zoltun Kull”, “Ghom” or “Azmodan”
- If you have found one of these bosses with a bounty, take it down and loot the chest that spawns near the boss
- From level 18, 1-2 diamonds can spawn in these chests
- Do this until you have 2 diamonds (With luck, you can already get 2 diamonds from one chest)
- Now visit the jeweler and choose the option in the diamond category to upgrade the 2 normal diamonds to the Flawless Diamond
- Now you can visit the Altar of Rites and unlock the seal with the Flawless Diamond
Of course, this also works with bounties from other bosses in Season 28. However, the paths to the above-mentioned bosses are quite short. This way you can collect the loot without much time effort. If you prefer to take down other bosses for this, you can do that too.
