Diablo 3: All Soul Shards in Season 30 and their Strong Bonuses

Diablo 3: All Soul Shards in Season 30 and their Strong Bonuses

In Season 30 of Diablo 3, you can farm Soul Shards of the Greater Evils and Lesser Evils. We will show you all Soul Shards along with their base bonuses and additional properties. Find out what you can do with the “Sparks of the Hellforge.”

What are these shards? The seasonal theme of Season 30 in Diablo 3 is titled “The Rulers of Hell.” This was already the case in Season 25. It’s all about the Soul Shards. Each character can carry two at the same time. They drop in their basic form and can then be upgraded by you.

In this overview, we show you all Soul Shards and their bonuses from Season 30. This way you know which ones are suitable for your class and playstyle and are worth upgrading.

Note: We have updated the article from Season 25 and adapted it for Season 30.

Season theme of Season 30 – Soul Shards and Sparks of the Hellforge

How does the theme work? You can carry two shards at the same time, one socketed in the head and one in the weapon. They work like gems but are much more powerful than any gems you’ve known before. Because they combine effects.

  • There are three Soul Shards of the Greater Evils that fit in your helm sockets
  • And four Soul Shards of the Lesser Evils that fit in your weapon sockets
  • You can upgrade each Soul Shard three times, using exclusive seasonal items “Sparks of the Hellforge” – these are consumables
  • By upgrading, you unlock the additional properties

Where can you find the Soul Shards? The new Soul Shards and the Sparks of the Hellforge can drop anywhere. The chance of obtaining Soul Shards is higher from bosses. You cannot trade the shards with other players but you can recycle them with the Blacksmith or use them in Caldesann’s Despair.

After the end of the season, you cannot take either the Soul Shards or the Sparks of the Hellforge into non-seasonal play.

All Soul Shards and their Bonuses in Season 30
