In Diablo 3 , the Barbarian and Crusader lead the European leaderboards for Season 19. Both classes reached level 150 in the Greater Rift. But how fast are they and how far behind are the others?
What’s going on in the leaderboards? We regularly take a look at the leaderboards for Season 19 in Diablo 3. The rankings show which class is currently doing better and which is lagging behind.
Currently, we see:
- Barbarian and Crusader are solidly at the top
- Monk and Wizard are in the middle
- Necromancer and Witch Doctor have the weakest first places
A similar picture was predicted in the tier list of the best classes and builds in Season 19. The Wizard seems to have even more potential.
The current ranking in Season 19 of Diablo 3 – Overview in December
We are looking at the European Solo leaderboards, as found on the Diablo 3 website as of December 18 at 12:00 PM. This is about the seasonal leaderboards in Softcore.
What builds are being played? Behind the entries, we link the player profiles so you can view their builds. Keep in mind that these builds may have changed since then and may not have been set up when the fastest time was achieved.
- Crusader – GR 150 with a time of ~ 13 minutes and 28 seconds
- Barbarian – GR 150 with a time of ~ 14 minutes and 46 seconds
- Monk – GR 144 with a time of ~ 14 minutes and 32 seconds
- Wizard – GR 141 with a time of ~ 12 minutes and 24 seconds
- Demon Hunter – GR 136 with a time of ~ 12 minutes and 54 seconds
- Necromancer – GR 133 with a time of ~ 14 minutes and 58 seconds
- Witch Doctor – GR 129 with a time of ~ 13 minutes and 33 seconds
What has changed? Last time we looked at the leaderboards was at the beginning of December. At that time, no class had reached GR 150 in Solo yet. Additionally, the Wizard could gain one spot since then and overtook the Demon Hunter. The Necromancer also passed the Witch Doctor since then.

What about the Wizard? In the last seasons of Diablo 3, Wizards have always solidly occupied the top spots in the Solo leaderboards. So far, Season 19 presents a different picture. However, in the last two weeks, the Wizard class has already advanced from GR 130 to GR 141.
It is quite possible that the class will now make a sprint and gain even more positions. The tier list for Season 19 predicted the “Bazook-Wiz” as one of the strongest builds, but also very complicated to play.
A disruption of the rankings was caused by an exploit, which allowed players to quickly sneak into the top rankings of the Solo Rifts:
Why are Barbarian and Crusader so good?
Barbarian: The class received several buffs before the start of Season 19, which particularly support the Whirlwind Barbarian. Thanks to the buff from Wound, the class quickly ascends to the high regions of the Greater Rifts, farming Paragon points and gear to climb even further. Additionally, the build is easy to understand and implement.
The popularity of Whirlwind Barbarians in Season 19 was also reflected in our survey on MeinMMO.
Crusader: The AOV Shotgun Crusader had already made its way into the tier lists before the start of Season 19. On the test server, some players tried out the build and found it so good that it should become one of the strongest builds in Season 19.
The Aegis of Valor build can also be found among the Crusaders in the upper ranks of the leaderboards. The Aegis of Valor set only made its entrance into the game with the current patch 2.6.7 and is currently still very strong.
