Over the weekend, a bug on the “Seadrift” server in Devilian led to wide eyes and empty pockets: players lost progress and items. For several hours, some found it difficult to play until Trion Worlds provided replacement armor. There were significant issues with player data.
Devilian now reports: We have noticed issues again at Seadrift last night, which could lead to another “data loss.” The safety of data is our top priority. We can only reopen the server once we are sure nothing will happen.
At the moment, the server is closed. It is unclear when it will reopen. Probably not today, December 16th. The team assures that they are working “around the clock” on a solution, and are looking for ways to thank players for their patience.
