In the new MMORPG Devilian there has been a rough awakening for players on the Seadrift server in the last few hours: Their items were gone.
Devilian is only a few days old: It is the hot phase, players log in, want to advance as quickly as possible, gain a lead, and pull ahead.
Then the shock: You log in after a server reset on Saturday evening and all items are simply missing.
Trion Worlds has tried to respond quickly to the problem. They said last night: “We are receiving some reports that players have lost progress or items after the restart of Seadrift. We are working hard on this, you don’t all need to write tickets, we are taking care of it.”
But it turned out exactly that way. Players took to the barricades, countless tickets are being written. I paid for these items, founders shout, now I can’t use them. Scandal!
Trion Worlds is working on a solution, but it is not that simple. A “big solution” would take time, so they are trying to compensate players with ad-hoc assistance to get them back into the world of Devilian and ready for battle. They are giving them temporary item sets, promising compensations, and an EXP boost.
As of now (it is still early Sunday morning in the USA), they are working to directly replace items for higher-level players – this applies to players who had level 4 or 5 talismans or level 52 blue gear. They also want to replace purchases or founder/starter items at this time.
This is how they want to compensate players in Devilian
These “rewards” are intended for characters who logged in between 11 AM yesterday and 11 PM yesterday (our time) in Devilian.
These rewards apply to all characters who logged in 10AM-10PM UTC on December 12th.
