A new MMORPG from South Korea announces its official name and shows its first gameplay in a new trailer. The game is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 with former developers of TERA working on it.

Behind “The Starlight” are the development studio Game Tales and Com2uS, a fairly large name in the gaming industry in South Korea.
Game Tales stands out primarily because many veterans of MMORPG development in Korea have come together in this studio. Among others, former developers of the well-known MMORPGs TERA and Cabal Online are working on this new title.
The expectations for The Starlight could definitely rise a bit with this information.
What to expect in The Starlight: The trailer already gives you a glimpse into the created world. You can see a small village in the green, a dry desert, or a huge fortress in the mountains. Visually, the game should definitely appeal to some fantasy fans.
Especially the use of Unreal Engine 5 for development makes the game interesting. This should result in visually appealing gameplay, and Com2uS promises to create a large open world that should simply be beautiful to look at.
How the gameplay will fit into this world is also shown in the trailer. The player character and the enemies blend in quite well with the environment and can already hold their own graphically at first glance.
You will see two characters in action. A younger woman with colorful braids is likely throwing magical knives at her enemies, while another woman attacks from a distance with firearms. Although the trailer does not show exactly how you control your character and its abilities, the gameplay definitely looks fast-paced and action-packed.
When will it be released? When and for which platforms The Starlight will be released is not officially known yet. According to various reports, players should prepare for a PC release.
