The success of Palworld also attracted the attention of mobile app developers, but now the developers of the Steam hit are warning against scammers and the security of your personal information.
What is the deal with mobile scammers? Palworld is a massive hit on Steam and is breaking records of various AAA titles. Since its release, the survival game has already attracted 19 million players, including 12 million on Steam alone.
Of course, the success also draws in some mobile developers who want their piece of the pie – even if it’s not their pie.
For this reason, mobile apps for Palworld are appearing sporadically, claiming to assist you in some way while playing, but it is these very apps that the developers of the Steam hit are now warning against.
What do the Palworld developers say? In a post on X.com, the developers state that there is no Palworld app. Any application that bears the name Palworld is not affiliated with Pocketpair, the developer studio behind Palworld.
Furthermore, the developers warn against downloading these apps, as they claim it can lead to fraud or the sharing of your personal data stored on your smartphone.
There is no Palworld application for smartphones. Apps with names and product images like “パルワールド” and “Palworld” appear in the App Store and Google Play, but they are in no way associated with our company.
We have reported this issue to Apple, the operator of the App Store, and Google, the operator of Google Play.
Please note that downloading these apps can lead to the sharing of personal data stored on your smartphone or to fraud.

Both in the App Store and on Google Play, third-party apps for Palworld are available for German users. However, Pocketpair has already contacted Google and Apple, as stated in the X.com post.
Palworld is currently only playable on Steam and Xbox. There is no mobile version of the survival game, nor are there any official companion apps from Pocketpair.
The situation currently looks bleak for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 as well. So far, there is no information about a release on either console: Palworld: Is the game coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch?
