Through the official channels, the developers of Monster Hunter Wilds have warned in recent hours about errors that could cause you to miss important features or improvements.
What are those errors? Through the account “Monster Hunter Status” on X, there have been multiple warnings in recent hours.
- When visiting the forge, there may be an error that repeatedly displays instructions for upgrading weapons. This has in turn disabled certain options in the menu – via X.
- Although players meet the requirements with their hunter, they cannot unlock important features related to cooking meals and obtaining ingredients – via X.
Those affected by the bugs may find themselves in a situation where they cannot optimally upgrade their weapons or where it is unnecessarily difficult to obtain useful buffs through food.

Hotfixes are already on the way
What is the current status? Early Sunday morning, there was another update from the developers on X. The already completed hotfix patch 1.000.03.00 contains the fixes for the aforementioned bugs. They are currently preparing for the release on all platforms. The developers also advise ensuring that you have the new update installed before you go hunting again.
What do I need to know about Monster Hunter Wilds? It is the second installment of the popular series from Capcom, following Monster Hunter World from 2018, that is being released for the most powerful platforms from the start.
