In the MMO shooter Destiny , a new exotic weapon has been introduced that is set to arrive on April 12.
Last night, the Playstation account announced a new exotic item that is expected to arrive with the April 12 patch for Destiny. It is the sniper rifle Zen Meteor. The weapon is said to be exclusive to Playstation.

The description of the weapon is “Complete Awareness, complete Focus. A mind sharpened by diligence to a single deadly point.”
Translated roughly: “Absolute Awareness, total Focus. A mind dedicated to a single, deadly point.”
This is all we have in terms of tangible information about the weapon. Such a lack of information leads to a lot of speculation within the community.
In discussions about the weapon, such as on reddit, it has already been noted that the weapon resembles the “Stillpiercer”, a legendary sniper rifle that only Hunters can obtain as a reward – it is available through Banshee-44.
Some hints in the flavor text suggest that the weapon could be related to “Third Eye”, something that enhances the “Radar”. And there is a belief that it could be a weapon that follows a “target” theme, is particularly precise, or something similar. But these are currently just speculations.
From the first stream, we know that Petra Venj will have a Playstation-exclusive quest starting from the April update. It is possible that “Zen Meteor” will be available – but that is also currently just speculation.
When can Xbox players get Zen Meteor?
Currently, there is no information on what values or properties the weapon will have. The duration of the “Playstation exclusivity” is also unclear.
With The Taken King, Xbox players were able to use all PS-exclusive content from year 1 – including the ones that were added in later DLCs. It is therefore quite possible that the PS-exclusive content will be released in year 2 with the expansion in fall 2016. In any case, the Jade Rabbit and other exclusive content were released in September 2015 with the note that they would remain exclusive to players on Sony’s consoles until at least fall 2016.
The new exotic weapon also fuels speculation among fans about whether Bungie might have more Exotics prepared for the April update. So far, only the return of 13 exotic items from year 1 has been announced. In the database, there are still 7 more exotic armor pieces, that players have been waiting for since The Taken King.
