In the MMO shooter Destiny on Friday, December 4th, the tentacled vendor Xur appears in the Tower or the Reef and offers his wares.
One more Friday, one more hunt for Xur – at least with the old inventory. Next week Friday, the 15 new exotic items will be in the game – although “new” is a bit of a stretch. 13 will be familiar from the first year, only the Dämmerbruch-Garnison and Tarantella, two chest pieces for Titan and Hunter, are entirely new.
Bungie announced last night that it will be happening early next week: The big December patch is coming. This weekend, Bungie is at the Playstation Experience in San Francisco, has a booth there: Maybe there will be new information about how Destiny will continue in 2016. After that, players will be starving and thirsty.
But now first to Xur:
Everything about Xur on December 4th, 5th, and 6th in Destiny
When does Xur come and when does he leave again?
Xur comes on Friday, December 4th, at 10:00 AM. He stays for 48 hours and leaves when St. Nicholas comes, on December 6th at 10:00 AM.
Where is Xur?
Update: Due to issues with the old location, Xur has been relocated on Friday evening and is now in the Tower, in the Hangar.
Xur is in the Reef this time. Our friends from ProNDC show you the way.
ProNDC also has a video of Xur’s new position: Here is Xur in the Tower on December 5th and 6th.
Where do I get strange coins?
We addressed the question of strange coins in this article.
What exactly do the Glass Needle do?
We discuss what the Glass Needle is about in this article.
What does Xur have with him? What is his inventory in Destiny?
Xur sells as a weapon the Telesto, which is an exotic fusion rifle. No Engram. Xur demands 23 strange coins.
For Titans, there are Ruinenflügel, which are gloves. He wants 13 strange coins for that.

For Warlocks, the Year 2 helmet “The STAG.”

For Hunters, the new helmet “Himmelsbrenner-Anhang.”
As a Legacy Engram, Xur has a special weapon Engram. Year 1 weapons with Year 1 stats can come from it. This luxury costs 31 strange coins.
