In Destiny, fireteams have managed to reach Aksis in the “Wrath of the Machine” raid using a Sparrow.
Several Guardians managed to bring a Sparrow to the final boss of “Wrath of the Machine”. Since you cannot activate a Sparrow in the raid, they had to navigate it through the entire raid from the beginning. For regular Guardians, this is a near-impossible task, especially given the jumping sections.
The Guardians from the YouTube channel “The Legend Himself”, who have already achieved several impressive feats in the raid, are among those players who successfully completed a “Sparrow To Aksis” run. They showcase their success particularly well in this video:
The Sparrow was controlled by the Guardian Epicookiez. According to his own statements, there were some obstacles and issues to overcome.
However: “The Legend Himself” were not the first to bring a Sparrow to Aksis. The Redditor LogicIy claims the World-First status, having achieved the success with his fireteam about 5 hours earlier on the same day. They took over two weeks to accomplish this. Here’s a video from them:
The Legend Himself reports that they needed surprisingly few attempts. Epicookiez is a beast with the Sparrow, having made it through the jumping puzzle after Vosik on the first try. Overall, they had to go to Aksis three times: The first time allegedly had lags and typical raid issues, the second time the Sparrow was destroyed by Aksis (also visible in the video), and the third attempt was needed to create the screenshot at the end. It took them a total of 4 hours.
