In the MMO shooter Destiny the developers have clarified some of the open questions.
This time, the “Week at Bungie” was more of a retrospective of the patch. Three important questions are clarified.
What about the Sterling Boxes?
Actually, all players were supposed to receive a free “Sterling Treasure.” This is the new “reward box” containing the Taken and “Tron” armor or the Chroma, for example.

Not all players received their free box. They want to correct this before next Tuesday. Exact details will be provided soon.
In the meantime, Bungie points out that there are also Sterling Boxes available through the weekly Crucible playlist and the 41 Prison of Elders. That works.
What about the 3 House of Wolves Exotics? Queenbreaker’s Bow, Lord of Wolves, and Dreg’s Promise?
The 3 weapons associated with House of Wolves that have now entered Year 2, are in the game. However, they can only be obtained through the challenge mode in the Prison of Elders. They cannot be pulled from the collections.

Additionally:
- Currently, fewer ghosts are dropping in the Nightfall Strike than planned. They want to correct this. [Update: They have changed their statement: The problem is not the low drop rate, but that the ghosts are dropping with a too low light level.]
- The Cryptarch packages for reputation rank-up only provide Year 1 engrams. They want to fix that as well.
- The exotic shotgun Universal Remote is currently coming from special weapon engrams. It’s not supposed to do that; it should come from primary weapon engrams.
- They are looking into whether more ammo should be dropped in PvE.
- Some weekly rewards like legendary engrams or Sterling Treasure Mystery Bags are available through the rewards screen after the game. Players may not receive these rewards if they exit the activity before seeing the screen.
- Some clan tags are missing, and the “Repair Clean” feature on bungie.net should resolve the issue.

What’s next for Destiny?
The next point will be the expansion in autumn. They are looking forward to discussing it, but will only do so properly in summer.
While Bungie does not say it, it is strongly suspected that they will kick off the information round at E3 in June. E3 takes place from June 14 to 16 in Los Angeles. At E3 2015, they presented the last “Autumn Expansion” – The Taken King.
Much earlier than summer, Xur returns. He arrives on Friday, April 15, in the Tower. At 11:00 AM it will happen. We will welcome him and report on his inventory.
